Realm of Torment
How do you get started on this series of quests? I've checked the wiki for the walkthrough, but that doesn't tell me. None of the places mentioned are on my map. I have basically finished Nightfall, except for this.

Have you seen this page?
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/List_...tfall_missions Uncharted Territory is the first primary quest, which can be found from Pehai in Gate of Torment. Dunkoro must be in your party for that quest. |

Do you mean DOA?
If you have finished Nightfall, go to Chantry of Secrets and speak to the guy guarding the big door, walk up to the statue of Kormir and bow, simple as that. |

If you haven't done the Realm of Torment, you have a fifth of Nightfall still left to do.
Realm of Torment is not on the map - it has a separate "map". You enter it after you finish the Ruins of Morah mission (the one where you catch up with Varesh). Once done, you'll see a new outpost-like icon on the map, which will take you to the Gate of Torment, the first outpost of Realm of Torment. |

I figured it wasn't finished, and yet I'm ascended, or anyway have 200 skill points.
This is my second time playing GW. I did finish the Desolation. But now I don't know where to go to start Uncharted Territory. I went to Chantry of Secrets and the guard at the door said that wasn't ready yet. There is no statue of Kormir here, so I don't know where to find him. I don't have access to Gate of Pain. So where should I start? Last edited by Cryshal; Aug 18, 2011 at 01:18 AM // 01:18.. |

You become ascended with the "Building a Base" quests at the Sunspear Sanctuary. It has nothing to do with Realm of Torment.
Check the RoT map on the wiki. Do you have all the icons? http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Realm_of_Torment If the gate guard says you are not ready then something is not completed. Try redoing the last mission (Abaddon's Gate) again.

Abaddon's Gate is in Real of Torment, which I can't find access to.
---------- I need to start Uncharted Territory. |

Have you completed the Ruins of Morah mission?

I've been looking at the series of quests leading to Realm of Torment, and Uncharted Territory. I know I did Desolation, but that doesn't show on my map. So, Ruins of Morah would be the last of that Desolation series, and I don't know how to find if I've done any of that. I may have to start the Desolation again. I can't find Kormir in the Command Post. He seems to be in many places, depending what quest you are doing.

Well, if the Desolation areas aren't appearing on your map, then I don't see how you could have done it... do you have the Gate of Desolation mission (or is it still an outpost)?
Also, Kormir is female...

Go to the Ruins of Morah.
Do you see a Vortex to the north as shown on this map? http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/File:..._world_map.jpg If so, that's the entrance to the Realm of Torment. If not, you haven't done the Ruins of Morah mission: talk to Captain Mehhan in the outpost. The conclusion of that mission will teleport you to the Gate of Torment. |

Thanks, since I don't see that, I guess I lost some of my map and will have to repeat.

Do you have a "Night Falls" storybook on your character? If so, that should verify which missions you have and haven't completed.

Map of the Desolation: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/The_Desolation/Map
There are only two missions on that map, 1. The Gate of Desolation in the lower right corner, and 2. Ruins of Morah in the center below the purple swirly thing. You say you don't have Ruins of Morah. Do you have Gate of Desolation and does it have one or more swords in the city icon on the World Map (M)? If you do, then you should either have, or need to get one of the following quests: A Deal's A Deal from Sahlahjar the Dead in Remains of Sahlahja (this city is a little north and west of the Gate of Desolation and is where you end up after finishing the Gate of Desolation mission. Upon completion of A Deal's a Deal, you will be in the Bone Palace (due north of Remains of Sahlahja). This is also where you get the next quest. Horde of Darkness is taken from Priest Kehmtut in the Bone Palace. So, if you have done Gate of Desolation, then first check the Primary Quest section of your quest log and see if you have one of those two quests. If so, just go from there. If not, then check to see if you have Remains of Sahlahja. If not, then you still need to do the Gate of Desolation mission. If you do have Remains, check to see if you the Bone Palace. If you don't have the Bone Palace, then you need to get A Deal's A Deal as described above. If you do have the Bone Palace, then you need to get Horde of Darkness as described above. Hope that helps. |
